We provide multiple forms of grants based on the stage of partnership with nonprofits including smaller restricted grants, outcomes based unrestricted grants and larger unrestricted, multi-year partnership grants.
Our funding is flexible and patient through links to strategic milestones and transparent terms that are designed to support, rather than burden management teams. Our main focus is on the impact organizations can have on communities across South and Southeast Asia in health, education, human rights and social welfare.
When communities we have an understanding of and a connection with face critical problems, we can develop our own initiatives directly. Initiatives can be new programs run in partnership with existing NGOs or the setup of new organizations in which we play a direct role in the governance, management and strategy initially.
We will only develop an initiative when:
we can do so with one or more of our existing partners;
we have exhausted the possibilities of supporting other NGOs or social enterprises working in the community;
we can set a realistic goal of eventually being replaced in the management of the initiative by our partners and members of the community.
